Blog post 10 - Evaluation
Evaluation At the beginning I set out to to create a 10 minute piece that portrayed the story of an evacuee and their experiences with being evacuated. I wanted to try and and portray the emotions of the child and let the audience understand their struggles. Although I struggled to portray the emotions not only through facial expressions but through movement, I feel during my final performance I managed to amplify my energy levels in order to perform every movement with my maximum capability to optimise the emotions shown. Reflecting upon the process, I feel I would have done a few things differently if I were to take on this journey again. One of the things I would do differently is to plan out the structure of the piece as soon as possible; at the very start of the process.
